North Vernon Vet-to-Vet Weekly Volunteer & Community Meetings North Vernon Vet-to-Vet welcomes veterans, family members, volunteers, businesses, community organizations, and community partners to participate in our weekly planning and outreach meetings. Together, we work to improve the lives of veterans and their families by developing educational programs, coordinating community outreach, strengthening partnerships, and expanding volunteer opportunities throughout southeastern Indiana. Our volunteer meetings help coordinate: Veteran outreach and peer support PTSD and suicide prevention education Community events and partnerships Wounded Hero Programs Ride for Life Warrior Blessing Meals Senior citizen outreach Volunteer recruitment and training Educational and fundraising opportunities Website, Facebook, and YouTube outreach. Whether you have a few hours a month or want to become actively involved, there is a place for you. Everyone brings unique talents, skills, and experiences that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans and their families.
