About this Event
424 W. Main St., Gas City, IN 46933
The Gas City Park Board holds its regular meeting on the first Monday of every month at 10:00 a.m., located at the Old School Annex, 424 West Main Street. This body advises the city on park operations, recreation programming, volunteer and youth initiatives, grant opportunities, and park safety. Typical agenda items include project updates, facility reservations, partnership requests, budget reviews, and planning for seasonal events. All meetings are open to residents, community groups, and stakeholders. A designated public comment period allows local citizens to raise concerns, offer suggestions, or present requests for future agenda consideration. Agendas are posted ahead of each meeting on the City of Gas City website and at City Hall; after the meeting, minutes and any board recommendations are published for public review. To request agenda placement or to inquire about accessibility accommodations, contact the Gas City Clerk’s office. The Park Board schedule is also recorded on the Cities and Gas City Police calendars in the Public Notices section; any cancellations or schedule changes will be announced through those channels.
