About this Event
Celebrate National Public Lands Day by helping Ouabache State Park with a park clean-up. Volunteers are to meet in the Boathouse parking lot at 10 a.m. to get assignments from painting to window cleaning to trimming trails to litter and stick pick-up. The park will provide trash bags and a limited about of tools.
National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest single-day volunteer effort for public lands. Give back to your local state park! Or enjoy the state park by attending the 1p.m. Fun at the Fire Tower program or the 3p.m. Bison Hike. September 25 is also the last free fishing day of the season.
