The BIO100 exercise is a regional seminar-based training hosted by IDOH. Part of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) program, this discussion-based exercise focuses on refining regional and local response strategies for high-priority biological threats.
Seminar Overview
This seminar acts as a "100-level" introduction to biological incident management, allowing participants to walk through simulated scenarios, identify capability gaps, and coordinate with regional partners before moving to more complex operational exercises later in the cycle.
