Get your feet wet in this exploratory program with a naturalist where you discover what small critters call Potato Creek home. Meet the Naturalist at the Family Campground Gate. After a 20-minute walk along the bike trail the Naturalist will provide tools and directions for exploring this unique spot before returning along the ½ mile path. Water shoes are recommended.

Our interpretive programs are designed to entertain and enrich folks of all ages. Children under 12 must have an adult with them at programs.

Registration is not required for this program.

All our programs are free (unless otherwise noted). They are open to the public after paying the park entrance fee. ($7 in-state & $9 out-of-state)

The Nature Center's Hours through October:  Open Daily 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET

*Note that during peak visitation times, entry into our park might be delayed.  Parking lots around the Nature Center can fill quickly. The Nature Center is located approximately 10 minutes from our park’s main entrance gate. Please plan accordingly.*
