In celebration of Indiana Archaeology Month, join archaeologists from Purdue University Fort Wayne and RESCOM Environmental Corp near the Ron Venderly Family Bridge on the Purdue University Fort Wayne campus as they and cultural resource management students demonstrate archaeological methods and techniques. Watch a limited excavation and geophysical survey, learn about technologies, and learn about Indiana cultures and artifacts. Both archaeologists and architectural historians will be on hand to educate and answer any questions. Free stickers and Indiana archaeology coloring packets and literature will be available, and artifacts will be on display. The event is free and open to all ages. No RSVP required to attend this open house event.
