Description: Join Indiana Project Learning Tree and 4-H as we explore the science and practice of forestry in Indiana! All participants will receive Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Guide that includes 50 hands-on, multidisciplinary activities to connect children to nature and Teaching with i-Tree that includes 3 activities exploring and analyzing the ecosystem services provided by trees. During the workshop, participants will experience several PLT activities, learn how to integrate forestry education into their program, and get connected to the PLT network at the state and national level. Please bring a lunch, snacks and water will be provided. Dress for the weather, we will be spending time outside!
