https://forms.gle/TqHQXx2mPcXKBZ3T8All educators, formal and nonformal alike, are invited to join Project WET in Danville on March 27 for a free workshop following the path our drinking water takes from the ground to the faucet and back into Hoosier waterways. Participants will learn about the processes and challenges of keeping water safe for both the people who use it and the environment we all share.
The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Train Station Building at Ellis Park. The day will include activities and experiments that can be used with students to demonstrate the principles of clean water use, as well as a tour of Danville's new water treatment plant to see the action first-hand.
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided, but participants should bring a sack lunch and comfortable clothing for touring the treatment plant.
Space is limited! Registration is open until March 20 or until full. Register using the form found here: https://forms.gle/TqHQXx2mPcXKBZ3T8
