Public Assistance and Damage Assessment Training

Full Description

Overview: The course will prepare emergency managers and staff to perform FEMA Public Assistance Damage Assessments. The course will also provide an overview of the Public Assistance Program.

The PA portion will be approximately 15 hours, and cover: Overview of Public Assistance, Public Assistance Damage Assessments, Impact Statements, Public Assistance Request for Assistance Forms, Applications and Grants Portal.

This course utilizes a digital delivery of course materials. Students must bring a digital device with them to class fully charged.

Students must register on Acadis to receive pre-course correspondence with instructors and credit for this course.
