PUBLIC NOTICE: Blackberry Marsh Wetland Restoration

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is proposing the use of federal and state funds to install two water control structures and one water intake structure at Blackberry Marsh, LaSalle Fish & Wildlife Area. The purpose of this project is to restore hydrology to facilitate restoration to an approximately 350-acre wetland complex. The project area has already been previously disturbed when current levees, culverts, and pumps were installed.

The Division of Fish & Wildlife wishes to solicit comments about any potential impacts to environmental, cultural, and historical resources.
