About this Event
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources proposes the use of federal and state funds to acquire approximately 96 acres of land in Vigo County, Indiana. Acquisition of this parcel has great potential to contribute high-quality wooded and upland habitat to the Wabash River Healthy Rivers Initiative Area and expand public use of the surrounding area. Current agricultural fields may be planted as food plots or cover for wildlife.
The Division of Fish & Wildlife wishes to solicit comments about any potential impacts to environmental, cultural, and historical resources.
