About this Event
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is proposing using federal and/or state funds to convert low lying areas into shallow wetlands with surrounding prairie habitat. These wetlands would attract waterfowl, shorebirds, and a variety of non-game species, offering opportunities for hunting, bird watching, and other uses of state property. The proposed projects will be funded in part through the Wildlife Restoration program, administered by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
The Division of Fish & Wildlife wishes to solicit comments about any potential impacts to environmental, cultural, and historical resources.
