ROANOKE, Ind.- (May 30, 2024) –Secretary of State Diego Morales toured the General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly Plant in Roanoke.
The Auto Dealer Services Division is one of the four divisions under the Indiana Secretary of State’s Office. Manufacturing, selling, or salvaging a vehicle is regulated by the Auto Dealer Services Division.
Secretary Morales has continually visited auto dealers and auto manufacturing facilities across the state, including Subaru of Indiana Automotive and Honda Manufacturing of Indiana. All three of these plants are major economic drivers with a vision on future innovation.
“General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly Plant was such an impressive operation. I want to continue engaging with leaders within the auto industry and ensure they know they have a partner in the Secretary of State’s Office. This sector has a proven tremendous impact on local communities, our state, and the entire country,” said Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.
General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly Plant in Roanoke employs more than 4,200 people and builds approximately 1,300 trucks each day.
