Secretary of State Diego Morales Visits All 92 Counties Within 3 Months,

Breaking His Own Record

INDIANAPOLIS- (April 3, 2024) –Secretary of State Diego Morales wasted no time getting right to work at the start of the year.  Within three months, he has visited all 92 counties, breaking his own record!

During visits, Secretary Morales met with county clerks, prosecutors, sheriffs, business owners, auto dealers, and students. Building relationships with elected officials, community leaders, and young Hoosiers is extremely valuable.

At each stop, Secretary Morales listened to concerns from elected leaders and constituents of all ages and took those concerns back to his team to work on effective solutions. He understands Hoosiers who live in each county know what’s best for the place they call home.

In 2023, Secretary Morales visited all 92 counties within the first six months of taking office, which was a record pace for an elected statewide officeholder. This year, Secretary Morales set a big goal of again visiting all 92 counties within half the time as he did in 2023.

“We have spent countless hours driving and crisscrossing our great state.  Visiting all 92 counties in record time wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my dedicated team. I want Hoosiers to know they have a Secretary who is committed to working for them and strives to be accessible.  I’ve wholeheartedly enjoyed visiting every county. It wasn’t my first time in each Indiana county, and it won’t be my last,” said Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.

In addition to visiting all 92 counties, Secretary Morales has been diligently working at the Statehouse passing legislation impacting all divisions within his office.  

Secretary Morales plans to continue visiting counties, especially leading up to the Primary Election and throughout the summer months.
