About this Event
0185 S. Holmesville Road, La Porte, Indiana 46350
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about how septic systems (onsite sewage systems) work and how they impact the environment, especially within the context of Indiana coastal communities. Speakers from the Illinois- Indiana Sea Grant, Indiana Department of Health (IDOH), La Porte, Porter, and Lake counties will make presentations. The keynote speaker is Sara Heger. Heger is with the University of Minnesota's Onsite Sewage Treatment Program and is a well-respected leader in this field. For realtors, continuing credit hours will be available through Northwest Indiana Relators Association. Any questions regarding CEs should be directed to NIRA.
Lunch will be provided at this event. Please note that this is an In-Person event only. A virtual option will not be offered.
