Friday, October 15^th

6:30 pm-7:30 pm Happy Trails to You – Join us at the Camp Store for a make your own trail mix station. This will help you fuel up for our night hike.

8 pm Owl Prowl - Whoooooo is calling in the woods at night? Meet at the Campground Shelter across from Wildlife Wander Trail to learn about some common nocturnal animals and then head out on a moderate ¾ mile hike in hopes of hearing some.

Saturday, October 16^th

11 am – Spooktacular Cornhole Tournament –

Register your team at the Mounds Camp Store beginning Friday, October 15^th. Your team must be registered before 10:45 am on Saturday, October 16^th. The tournament will begin promptly at 11 am at the Camp Store. Please be checked in and ready to play by 10:45 am.

1:30 pm Costume Contest – Show off your wicked or whimsical costume during this fun event! Our contest is open to all ages. Bring your 4 legged friends too! Join us at the Amphitheater at the Campground Overflow Parking Lot.

4 pm – 6 pm Trick-or-Treating! – Our campground will be alive with Trick-or-treaters! Campers, please have your outside lights on so our ghosts and goblins will know to stop. *Roads through the campgrounds will be closed to motor vehicles during this time in order for children to trick-or-treat safely.

6 pm – 10 pm Campsite Judging – Campsite decorations will be voted on by YOU, our campers! Be sure to pick up your voting ballets from the Campground Gatehouse. During this time campers will be walking around the campground to select our spookiest campsites! Each campsite will be given two ballets to cast their votes for their favorite campsite. Return your completed ballets to the Campground Gatehouse no later than 10:00 p.m. on Saturday. Free camping will be awarded to the top three campsites! Winners will be posted at our Camp Store on Sunday morning at 10:00 am. 

7 pm Hibernate, Migrate or Tough-it-Out – With winter just around the corner, Indiana’s wildlife is making preparations for the impending cold and often harsh weather. Join us at the Camp Store to learn more about what these animals are doing to get ready.

8:30 pm Stories of the Night Sky – Meet at Mound’s Beach Concession Stand for an Astronomy filled evening! Explore the night sky and discover what constellations can be seen in autumn and the stories behind them.

Sunday, October 17^th

10 am Wildlife Forensics – Put on your detective hat and solve a wildlife mystery with us! Join us at the Camp Store.
