7 pm - 8 pm Happy Trails to You – Join us at Poplar Grove Shelter for a make your own trail mix station.
8 pm Hibernate, Migrate, or Tough-it-Out – Join us at Poplar Grove Shelter to learn about how animals are preparing for the cold months ahead.
Saturday, October 22nd
11 am - 12 pm Autumn Activities! – Join us at Poplar Grove Shelter for an hour of fall fun! We will have games, crafts, and more to share with you.
1:30 pm Costume Contest – Show off your wicked or whimsical costume during this fun event! Our contest is open to all ages. Bring your 4-legged friends too! Join us at the Campground Playground in Loop B.
4 pm – 6 pm Trick-or-Treating! – Our campground will be alive with Trick-or-treaters! Campers, please have your outside lights on so our ghosts and goblins will know to stop. *Roads through the campgrounds will be closed to motor vehicles during this time in order for children to trick-or-treat safely.
6 pm – 10 pm Campsite Judging – Campsite decorations will be voted on by YOU, our campers! Be sure to pick up your voting ballets from the Main Gatehouse. During this time campers will be walking around the campground to select our spookiest campsites! Each campsite will be given two ballets to cast their votes for their favorite campsite. Return your completed ballets to the Camp Store no later than 10:00 p.m. on Saturday. Free camping will be awarded to the top three campsites! Winners will be posted at our Camp Store on Sunday morning by 10:00 am.
6:30 pm Creepy Crawlies – Whether they creep, crawl, or fly, insects are one of the most important species we have! Find out what makes them so important and make a craft to take home. Meet at Poplar Grove Shelter.
7:30 pm Going Batty! - Join us for a moderate ¾ mile walk as we talk about and search for Indiana’s fascinating flying mammal. Meet at our South Shelter.
Sunday, October 23rd
10 am Autumn Amble – Meet us at Poplar Grove Shelter for a ¾ mile moderate hike as we search for signs of Autumn.
