7 pm - 8 pm Happy Trails to You – Join us at the Camp Store for a make your own trail mix station. This will help you fuel up for our night hike.

8 pm “Monster” Mash - Many of our native animals are associated with Halloween films and folklore. Find out the facts behind the fiction by joining us at the Camp Store.  

Saturday, October 15th

11 am – Spooktacular Cornhole Tournament –

Register your team at the Mounds Camp Store beginning Friday, October 14th. Your team must be registered and present before 10:45 am on Saturday, October 15th. The tournament will begin promptly at 11 am at the Camp Store. Please be checked in and ready to play by 10:45 am.

Saturday, October 15th continued…

1:30 pm Costume Contest – Show off your wicked or whimsical costume during this fun event! Our contest is open to all ages. Bring your 4 legged friends too! Join us at the Amphitheater at the Campground Overflow Parking Lot.

4 pm – 6 pm Trick-or-Treating! – Our campground will be alive with Trick-or-treaters! Campers, please have your outside lights on so our ghosts and goblins will know to stop. *Roads through the campgrounds will be closed to motor vehicles during this time for children to trick-or-treat safely.

6 pm – 10 pm Campsite Judging – Campsite decorations will be voted on by YOU, our campers! Be sure to pick up your voting ballets from the Main Gatehouse. During this time campers will be walking around the campground to select our spookiest campsites! Each campsite will be given two ballets to cast their votes for their favorite campsites. Return your completed ballets to the Camp Store no later than 10:00 p.m. on Saturday. Free camping will be awarded to the top three campsites! Winners will be posted at our Camp Store on Sunday morning by 10:00 am. 

6:30 pm - 7:30 pm Autumn Activities! – Join us at the Camp Store for an hour of fall fun! We will have games, crafts, and more to share with you.

8 pm Stories of the Night Sky – Meet at Mound’s Beach Concession Stand for an Astronomy filled evening! Explore the night sky and discover what constellations can be seen in autumn and the stories behind them.

Sunday, October 16th

10 am Ruttin’ Around – Join us at the Camp Store to learn about Indiana’s largest herbivore and find out what life is like for them this time of year.
