Seven magistrates and lawyers who applied for an opening on the Allen Superior Court Civil Division will be interviewed by the Allen Superior Court Judicial Nominating Commission on Tuesday, June 9. Times have been adjusted to accommodate the use of technology for remote appearances by some Commission members. The schedule is as follows:

The interviews will take place in Courtroom #2 on the third floor of the Allen County Courthouse at 715 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. The interviews are open to the media and public with social distancing measures in place. Seating will be limited. Previously announced guidelines and decorum rules will be in effect.
A vacancy on the Allen Superior Court will occur in June 2020 when Judge Nancy Eshcoff Boyer retires. Under state law, the Commission is required to nominate three candidates for appointment to the Allen Superior Court when a vacancy arises. The final appointment will be made by Governor Eric Holcomb.
