DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, August 31 at 10:10 a.m. (EDT)\, the Allen Superior 
 Court Judicial Nominating Commission will begin conducting interviews of t
 he applicants for the Allen Superior Court Criminal Division. The intervie
 ws will take place in the Community Conference Room at the Crosswinds/Life
 line Building at 4150 Illinois Road\, Fort Wayne\, IN 46804.\n\nThe interv
 iews are open to the media and public with social distancing measures in p
 lace. Seating will be limited. The schedule is as follows:\n\nAugust 31\, 
 2020\n9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Executive Session\n10:10 a.m. – 10:40
  a.m. – Magistrate Samuel Keirns\n10:50 a.m. – 11:20 a.m. – Magistra
 te Jason Custer\n11:20 a.m. – 11:40 a.m. – Break\n11:40 a.m. – 12:10
  p.m. – Andrew Teel\n12:10 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Lunch and Executive Se
 ssion\n1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Magistrate Steven Godfrey\n2:10 p.m. 
 – 2:40 p.m. – Magistrate Lori Morgan\n2:40 p.m. – TBD – Executive 
 Session/Announcement\n\nMembers of the audience are asked to refrain from 
 activities that might distract from the interview process. Questioning of 
 the applicants is reserved for the Commission. The Commission has the foll
 owing guidelines:\n\n    Enter and exit the room only between interviews  
   Set up audio/video recording equipment in between interviews (no mult bo
 x provided)    Artificial lighting shall not be used    Media/public may i
 nterview the applicants before/after Commission's interview outside the Co
 mmunity Conference Room at the applicant’s discretion A vacancy on the A
 llen Superior Court will occur in January 2021. Under state law\, the Comm
 ission is required to nominate three candidates for appointment to the All
 en Superior Court when a vacancy arises. The final appointment will be mad
 e by Governor Eric Holcomb.
