About this Event
Grandparents petitioned to adopt P.J.W. over Father’s objection. While the Montgomery Superior Court dispensed with Father’s consent to the adoption, the trial court found adoption was not in the child’s best interest. The Court of Appeals affirmed. In re: Adoption of P.J.W., 223 N.E.3d 291 (Ind. Ct. App. 2023), vacated. The Supreme Court has granted Grandparents’ petition to transfer and assumed jurisdiction over this appeal.
