The Marion County Judicial Selection Committee conducted interviews on March 9 of the incumbent trial court judges seeking retention.

After considering Judge Cynthia Ayers' qualifications and Judge Cynthia Ayers' performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Cynthia Ayers IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge David Certo’s qualifications and Judge David Certo’s performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge David Certo IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Elizabeth Ann Christ’s qualifications and Judge Elizabeth Ann Christ’s performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Elizabeth Ann Christ IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Angela Davis’ qualifications and Judge Angela Davis’ performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Angela Davis IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Patrick Dietrick’s qualifications and Judge Patrick Dietrick’s performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Patrick Dietrick IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Kurt Eisgruber’s qualifications and Judge Kurt Eisgruber’s performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Kurt Eisgruber IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Shatrese Flowers’ qualifications and Judge Shatrese Flowers’ performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Shatrese Flowers IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Christina Klineman’s qualifications and Judge Christina Klineman’s performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Christina Klineman IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Timothy Oakes’ qualifications and Judge Timothy Oakes’ performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Timothy Oakes IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge James Osborn's qualifications and Judge James Osborn's performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge James Osborn IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Marcel Pratt’s qualifications and Judge Marcel Pratt's performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Marcel Pratt IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Marc Rothenberg's qualifications and Judge Marc Rothenberg's performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Marc Rothenberg IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office.The names of these 13 judges will appear on the ballot in November for voters to determine whether or not they should each be retained.

The 14-member Committee was established by the Indiana General Assembly in 2017 and is chaired by Indiana Supreme Court Justice Mark Massa. Indiana law provides the framework for the duties and membership of the Committee.
