After considering Judge Cynthia Ayers' qualifications and Judge Cynthia Ayers' performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Cynthia Ayers IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge David Certo’s qualifications and Judge David Certo’s performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge David Certo IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Elizabeth Ann Christ’s qualifications and Judge Elizabeth Ann Christ’s performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Elizabeth Ann Christ IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Angela Davis’ qualifications and Judge Angela Davis’ performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Angela Davis IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office. After considering Judge Marc Rothenberg's qualifications and Judge Marc Rothenberg's performance in office, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee finds that Judge Marc Rothenberg IS qualified and SHOULD BE retained in office.The names of these 13 judges will appear on the ballot in November for voters to determine whether or not they should each be retained.
The 14-member Committee was established by the Indiana General Assembly in 2017 and is chaired by Indiana Supreme Court Justice Mark Massa. Indiana law provides the framework for the duties and membership of the Committee.
