After Perry County discontinued health insurance coverage for certain part-time county employees, county council member Keith Huck sued to reinstate the benefit. The Perry Circuit Court entered a preliminary injunction restoring insurance coverage, but the Court of Appeals reversed, finding the County properly exercised its authority. Perry Cnty. v. Huck, 232 N.E.3d 141 (Ind. Ct. App. 2024), vacated. The Indiana Supreme Court has granted Huck’s petition to transfer and assumed jurisdiction over this case.
