Grabowski sued South Bend Community School Corporation, alleging the corporation constructively discharged her in retaliation for her intent to file a worker’s compensation claim. A jury agreed with Grabowski and awarded her $600,000. The Court of Appeals affirmed. South Bend Cmty. Sch. Corp. v. Grabowski, No. 23A-CT-343 (Ind. Ct. App. May 15, 2024) (mem.), vacated. The Indiana Supreme Court has granted the school corporation’s petition to transfer and assumed jurisdiction over this case.
