After Minges was charged with two counts of misdemeanor operating while intoxicated, he moved to compel discovery of a “complete and accurate copy” of the police report. The Dearborn Superior Court denied Minges’s motion to compel and certified its order for interlocutory appeal. The Court of Appeals accepted jurisdiction and issued an opinion affirming the trial court. Minges v. State, 180 N.E.3d 391 (Ind. Ct. App. 2022), trans. pending. Minges has petitioned the Indiana Supreme Court to grant transfer and assume jurisdiction over the appeal.
