The 2024 Great S’more Contest!
To celebrate summer, camping, and all things state parks, we are inviting you to create your best s’more at one of our Indiana State Park properties, snap a photo, and share it with us! It can be a regular delicious roasted s’more or a unique work of s’more art!
Photo entries of the s’more can be sent via email to [email protected]. Winners will be selected by a panel of DNR staff, and the photo entries will be shared in an album on Indiana State Park’s Facebook after the contest. Winning prizes include a 2025 annual entrance pass, a $50 camping gift card, a $50 inns gift card and an Outdoor Indiana subscription.

Contest Rules:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Eligibility: This contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia at the time of entry. Employees of the Indiana Department of Resources and other companies associated with the promotion of this contest and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.
2. Sponsor: This contest is sponsored by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (“Sponsor”).
3. All photos of s’more must have been created in 2024 at an Indiana State Park property. Limit of one entry/submission per person.
4. Agreement of Rules: Participation in this contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent on being compliant with these rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
5. Contest Period: The deadline to submit the s’more creation entries is 11:59 E.T. on August 31, 2024. Entries that are submitted before or after the contest period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the contest using the online method only.
6. How to Enter: Online will be the only method of entry that is available, it is available through [email protected] and then following the specific directions when filling out the entry and submitting. All entries will become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
7. Prizes: Winners will be chosen by a panel of Sponsor’s employees and will win prizes. the potential winner(s) shall be selected from all eligible entries received. The Sponsor will notify the winner within two weeks of the end of the contest. If the potential winner can not be contacted within five (5) days after first contact the Sponsor may select an alternate winner in his/her place from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries. 8. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via email and announced via social media.
9. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, other companies associated with the contest and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of the participation in this contest or receipt or use of prize.
10. Disputes: Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Indiana.
11. Privacy Policy: Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy. Photos of the entered s’mores may be used in contest promotions and general communications, including the DNR/State Park social media pages, newsletters, and websites.
