Winter is time of tranquility, where life feels at a standstill. There are hidden actions happening that we cannot see. Come explore trail 3 to find evidence of life under the snow. This hike will last about 45 mins, the trail is 1 mile.

*If bad weather is in effect, please see our facebook page for updates on hiking programs. We never cancel due to snow, but times of heavy rainfall accumulation may lead to cancelation of hiking programs. Please dress for the weather by bringing yak tracks, ice spikes, trekking poles, and/or snowshoes. Snowshoes are also available at the Nature Center up to 30 mins before a hiking program.

Our interpretive programs are designed to entertain and enrich folks of all ages. Children under 12 must have an adult with them at programs.

All our programs are free (unless otherwise noted). They are open to the public after paying the park entrance fee

All our Interpretive programs are listed in Eastern Daylight Savings Time.

The Nature Center's Current Hours:  Wednesday-Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EDT
