Potato Creek is 97% Occulation Zone. Best places to view the eclipse are beach and orchard shores. We are waiting closer to the date to see if Whispering Winds is an option to view the Solar Eclipse, because this area maybe closed due to the construction of Lodge.

Nature Center Hours
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am-3 pm EDT
Friday: 8:30 am- 4 pm EDT
Saturday & Sunday: 10 am- 5 pm EDT

Our interpretive programs are designed to entertain and enrich folks of all ages. Children under 12 must have an adult with them at programs.

Registration is not required for programs unless stated. All our programs are free (unless otherwise noted). They are open to the public after paying the park entrance fee. ($7 in-state & $12 out-of-state)

All our Interpretive programs are listed in Eastern Daylight Savings Time

*Note that during peak visitation times, entry into our park might be delayed. The drive to the Nature Center can take 15 minutes. Please plan accordingly. *
