 ild Turkey Federation for a Turkey Hunting 101 workshop on Saturday\, Marc
 h 21 from 1 – 5 p.m. ET at Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife Area. Turkey hun
 ting is great way start putting wild game on your table and practicing you
 r skills in the woods this spring. Whether you're new to hunting or just g
 eared up to try something different this season\, we look forward to seein
 g you!\n\nThis workshop will cover basic turkey biology\, hunting tips\, g
 ear selection\, safety\, regulations\, and ways to take your harvest from 
 field to fork. While hunter education is not required for this workshop\, 
 the content will build upon basic principles of hunter education. Prior ce
 rtification in hunter education\, either in person or online\, is recommen
 ded. Find more information on online hunter education here.\n\nThe class w
 ill consist of a mix of lecture and hands-on activities to help solidify y
 our turkey hunting knowledge and practice skills you may use in the field.
  Participants can expect a small amount of walking (up to one mile). Full-
 length pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended.\n\nPlease register to a
 ttend this free workshop. See you there!\n\nDNR values access for all part
