In 2020 a Veterans' Coffee Club was established at theMuncie/Delaware Senior Center by the Board of Directors. This was established to shareinformation about Veteran benefits,· to support and conduct non-partisan, education, andinformational activities, to increase public awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder andTraumatic Brain Injury in order to decrease Veteran Suicide. Veterans value courage and it takescourage to ask for help. Through our Veterans' Coffee Club outreach programs, We take a pro-active approach and ask veterans if they are okay. Equally important is listening. I have made theconnections with The American Legion, Vets4Warriors, and the Veterans Administration in order togain the resources to share.
