This 3rd annual winter event offers a collaborative, hands-on approach to building skills, forging connections, and growing opportunity in Indianapolis. The day-long event is designed to support military veterans, first responders, and others exploring careers or deeper engagement in agriculture. Morning sessions will include

presentation-style topics such as USDA/NRCS resources for beginning farmers and strategies for gardening in smallspaces. In the afternoon, attendees can participate in hands-on workshops including grant planning and businessdevelopment, food preservation techniques with a tasting component, and regenerative farming practices, capped by a veteran panel that highlights lived experience in agriculture. A vendor expo featuring products and services relevant toparticipants will be available throughout the day. Thanks to USDA AgVet grant support, qualified veterans may register for just $20 per household. Standard registration is $120. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are also available. You do not have to be a member of Veterans IN Farming to attend.
