Saturday, July 19th

8 and 10am Grissom Memorial Guided Tour See additional artifacts rarely seen by the public. 45 minutes.

9am to 3pm. Space Activity Table  Make space crafts, play space games, pick up a Grissom Memorial Scavenger Hunt, and launch stomp and bottle rockets!

9 to 10:30am and 1 to 3pm. Build a Rocket with the Count Down Cardinals will have a table set up and can assist you in building your own rocket that can be launched later in the day! *Cash only kits available: $15 kits through the Friends of Spring Mill.

11am  Real Rocket Launches at Sycamore Shelter by the National  Association of Rocketry – Count Down Cardinals from Bloomington, Indiana.

1pm Grissom Memorial Guided Tour See additional artifacts rarely seen by the public. 45 minutes.

2pm Water Bottle Rocket Race Find a partner to enter the bracket and see who can launch their rocket the highest. Participants will get wet!

3pm Grissom Memorial Guided Tour See additional artifacts rarely seen by the public. 45 minutes.  

4pm Cosmic Cuisine Learn about food in space.  Sample freeze dried ice cream.  

5pm  Real Rocket Launches at Sycamore Shelter by the National  Association of Rocketry – Count Down Cardinals from Bloomington, Indiana.
