A volksmarch is literally a “folk’s walk” or walk for the people. Volksmarching is a family sport, and people of all ages are welcome and invited to attend. Participants can walk at their own pace over a marked course.  These events are non-competitive and open to the public. Meet at the Pool Shelter anytime between 10 am to 1 pm to check-in, and the walk needs to be finished by 4 pm.  Two 5K loops through forest trails on rolling terrain along lakeshores with some steps with some moderate hills. This activity is free and open to the public after paying the gate fee.
