Description: Join the Indiana Volkssport Association at beautiful Mississinewa Lake (Miami State Recreation Area Park - Shelter #2) for a 5 or 11K walk. The event offers trails in beautiful forests and prairies surrounding the lake providing habitat to a wide variety of wildlife. Enjoy exceptional viewing opportunities for hiking and birding. Walkers can hike two separate loops on the park’s large expanses of tall prairie grasses, blooming native wildflowers, and numerous wetlands that wait to be explored.
