Voter Registration Booth Set Up on Georgia Street as

 Secretary of State Diego Morales Encourages Hoosiers to Get Registered

INDIANAPOLIS (October 6, 2023) – With less than a week until the voter registration deadline, Secretary of State Diego Morales is taking registration outreach efforts downtown to Georgia Street.   

In a final push to increase voter turnout before the November 7^th Municipal Elections, the Secretary of State’s Office will be setting up a voter information and registration booth this Sunday, October 8th at the Colts pre-game tailgate party on Georgia Street. Hoosiers can stop by to register on the spot. The Secretary of State’s booth will be set up along Georgia Street closer to the west end, near Capitol Avenue from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

“We want every eligible Hoosier registered to vote! Since the beginning of my administration, increasing voter turnout has been a top priority. This summer we spent weeks getting fairgoers registered at the Indiana State Fair, county fairs/festivals, and sporting events like the Indianapolis Indians game last month.  Since it’s football season, we wanted to make it easy for fans! Don’t miss the deadline or the Colts game.  Registering only takes a few minutes.  So, before you cheer on the Colts stop by our booth and get registered to vote,” said Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.

The voter registration deadline for the upcoming Municipal Election is Tuesday, October 10^th. The Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
