Wild about Wildlife, McCormick's Creek State Park

7 - 9 am - Indiana Audubon Society Bird Hike. Bring a pair of binoculars, or borrow ours.

10 am - Birds of Prey. Come meet some of the birds from Dwight Chamberlain Raptor Center at Hardy Lake.

11 am - Life in the Undergrounds. Indiana's limestone allows the formation of caves of all sizes, home to a variety of creatures, big and small.

1 pm - Is it Poisonous? .A close encounter with native snakes, venomous and not, and the opportunity to learn how to identify them, for a safe and relaxed summer.

2 pm - Life in the Water. Some animals depend on water for more than a drink. Amphibians, but also water snakes and aquatic turtles.

3 - 5 pm - Mom, I want a Turtle / Dad, I want a Snake. End the day in the company of some giant reptiles. Learn why these beasts don't make great pets for everyone!

Please note: in case of rain all programs 10 am to 5 pm will be held at the Canyon Inn.
