DESCRIPTION:2 miles\, rugged\, 2 hours\n\nOn May 16th of 2025\, a tornado s
 wept through the south side of Brown County State Park. Join a park natura
 list on a guided hike on the road to see the tornado path. We will discuss
  the impact it had\, view some of the damage\, and hear about what the nex
 t step is for the forest. The hike is about two miles total\, out and back
 . It should take about an hour and a half. While the hike is on the road\,
  we should consider it moderate/rugged. There are hills\, uneven pavement\
 , and possible downed tree limbs.\n\nDue to this hike being on a closed ro
 ad instead of off trail\, dogs are welcome!\n\nPlease keep in mind this is
  a guided hike. Hikers are expected to stay with the group on the road. Pl
 ease not not bypass road closed barriers in an Indiana State Park without 
 guidance from a park employee.
