1.5 miles, rating: Easy/Very Rugged, 1.5 hours long

This 1.5 mile round trip hike will take us to the site of our Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp area. We will hike mostly along the road to the camp area then off trail into the woods as we find the old foundations of buildings used in the camp. Learn more about the CCC, what they did here at Brown County, and see some pictures of the camp area from when it was up and running. The second part of the hike takes us to Deserters' Cave, which will involve a very rugged section of off trail hiking. Please dress for the weather and be ready for a fun hike!
