Are you interested in learning how to hunt, but don’t know where to start? Join the National Wild Turkey Federation and Indiana DNR for a Women’s Mentored Pheasant Hunt at Pigeon River FWA on Dec. 6, 2025, starting at 8 a.m. This event is intended for women new to hunting, and will include an upland hunting safety course, sporting clays practice, a guided pheasant hunt with female mentors, and a demonstration with hands-on practice on how to clean your harvested birds. Feel free to bring your own firearms, but ammunition and firearms will be available for use as well. There is a cost of $20 dollars for participants, and registration is limited to 10 hunters, so sign up now!

Following registration, applicants will recieve an email detailing next steps for enrollment and payment.
